Since we have a substantial number of people in Congress that are willing to bend and/or ignore the principles of our government, I've added more material for you to peruse. The topics below describe possible paths that these individuals want to convert of Government into.

What is an oligarchy?
The general definition of an oligarchy is a form of government involving the rule of a few persons or families. According to National Geographic, Greek philosopher Aristotle used the term in contrast to aristocracy (the elite upper class) to describe the rule of a few for “corrupt and unjust purposes.”

There’s plenty of talk in the American media about the expansion of oligarchy in Russia and other authoritarian states. But there’s no need to look offshore. Oligarchy is an American phenomenon, and it’s expanding at an exponential rate, while income inequality is surging. That’s according to the most official of official sources when it comes to economic issues: the Congressional Budget. Additionally, observe how the Trump legal issues are being handled by the Judiciary: No one other than our former President, now our own Master Oligarch Trump would be treated so well by our Justice system.

What is a theocracy?
Theocracy is a form of government in which one or more deities are recognized as supreme ruling authorities, giving divine guidance to human intermediaries who manage the government's daily affairs.

Over the years, religion has been creeping into the forefront of American democracy. In 1972, the Supreme Court ruled in Wisconsin v. Yoder that the Amish, a fundamentalist Christian group which forgoes modern technology, are permitted to remove their children from school after grade eight. The court's argument was that if the Amish were forced to go to school through high school, then it would infringe upon their right to practice religion.
This ruling effectively made it legal for parents to withhold their children from a proper education because of their religion. I would consider this to be child neglect, if not outright abuse. Children should be allowed to get a fair education so that when they are adults, they are able to think for themselves.

Heritage Foundation's Project 2025...
For a number of years, this conservative think-tank has been planning what the Republicans should do if they win the White House in 2024's election. The outlook for our Nation is bleak if their proposal is enacted by a Republican President.
Below, you peruse three websites describing what the Heritage Foundation is planning and how deep into the entire Republican Party this plan is working.

Short summary: Republicans are trying to eliminate all other political parties. Given this focus, I believe that we should not be electing ANY Republicans to ANY office, at ANY level of government until they return to platforms that truly support the Constitution and return to governing the Nation as described in the Constitution.
